Cutawl machines (at least all that we have acquired for the Museum) have a "K" letter designation. It is not clear why this letter was chosen. It is not clear why the various model numbers were applied to the machines. There are clearly cosmetic changes and doubtless there were mechanical enhancements and improvements made as well which caused ther management of the International Register Company to bring out a new model number. The serial numbers seem to be sequential through the various model numbers and are a true indication of the order of manufacture for the machines. The Museum always welcomes donations of applicable machines and materials. |
